My wife has the Prius at our other home in Arizona so I can't look and check for myself. Does the bracket only have mounting ports for the top two holes on a plate or does it have them for all four plate holes? I know the back plate mounting only uses the top plate holes.
OK, I just found a Toyota bulletin for installing the the front bracket and it only has mount points for the top two plate holes. Question has been answered.
Our Prius came with the bracket already mounted to the bumper. I needed to know if there were two or four PLATE mounting holes on the bracket for a project I'm working on. Now that I know there are only two PLATE mounting points I can continue with my project.
OK, need some more help since I'm 700 miles away from the Prius. What size bolts/screws are used for the plate attachment? IIRC, they are machine but I don't know if they were metric of SAE. What nuts are used, captive speed nuts? I checked a Toyota parts website but they only showed the bracket and the screws for mounting the bracket to the bumper cover.
