How does the front passenger airbag deploy? Does it shoot out horizontally from the upper glove box, or does it come out from the top of the dash at the seam between the flat part and the upper glove box door? Or from somewhere else? I ordered a dash carpet and there was no provision in the automatic order form for a front airbag cutout, which suggests that there isn't a need for a cutout. Bob I decided against road testing the front airbag deployment
A seem which is nearly invisible - but at the correct angle, a ¾ square panel is visible in the plastic where the airbag would deploy. Same goes for the steering wheel in the horn area.
