Located in SW Minneapolis area. Driftwood Pearl. 12,900 miles. Exactly 2 years (or 23,000 miles) are left on the factory warranty, as of today. Has not yet seen winter weather. My dad purchased this TRAC car (w/about 200 miles on it) in Naples, FL last October, and sold it to me in MN in 8/04, at 9000 miles. I have a clean MN title. Has had all updates except the fuel filler deal; 3 oil changes, with last 2 synthetic. Windows tinted (Lumar) while in FL, and are too dark to be legal in MN. Has Prius floor and cargo mats, and a windshield-mounted compass (poor-man's NAV)! The car is very clean. I'm selling only because the silver #4 I've been waiting 9 months for is about to arrive. Looking for $21,500, as this is what I'd net by trading it in. I'd rather have it go directly to a good home, at a lower price than the dealer will turn it around for. Seems a bit pricey Rob, considering that it is slightly more than a new 2005 base model (which includes the rear wiper). Whoever buys it also won't get the $2000 tax deduction since it is used. But, who knows, it is worth a try.
true enough (it's more than I would pay), although various internet sources seem to show 2003s with many more miles selling in the high teens, and 2004s of any ilk selling from $21 to way up. (my dad paid 1500 over msrp when he bought this one.) in fact, my dealer had another one on the lot (w/20k miles) priced at $23k....also a pkg. 0. of course, asking price means little. in any event, my pricing is based upon a trade-in committment from my dealer, plus the sales tax I would save by trading it in. figure I'll toss it out there and see if someone wants to go for what I'm going to net on it either way.
