2005 with 212k. It’s been super rainy here in SoCal for a while and my O2 sensor threw a code. Happened last time when the sensor got wet. Now my gas gauge is reading all screwed up. After last fill up, three pips down in 104 miles, but the “average” reading is normal between 46 and 47. The 02 sensor when off when it dried. Will I have to do a gas tank recalibrate?
Maybe figure out where the water ingress is happening and see if you can seal it. I'm thinking of the wires and connectors here. If it is not fixable, replace the O2 sensor so you don't need to worry about it anymore.
