Where could I find a new fuel pump for an 07 Prius. I don’t want to have to use a salvage yard fuel pump.

How certain are you that the problem is the fuel pump? Could it be something else?

Fuel pump is inside the fuel tank assembly... I've never read of anyone who successfully just replaced the fuel pump because you'd have to nearly destroy the tank assembly to access it.

Besides, your Prius is 17 years old and doesn't need brand new parts like that unless you want to pay more than the car's worth from a Toyota Stealership for the whole assembly. Just get one at a wrecker and swap it out and it should work fine. It's a relatively easy job to do... Never seen anyone on here complaining about their used assembly they put in not working.

You're changing the tank for that unless you're in Australia or something like that those cars have a regular tank and a fuel pump that serviceable our tank in the USA and wherever else is not serviceable it has a bladder over the top of it that you can't access and can't get through to get to the pump generally these pumps last a long time like three and 400,000 is normal seemingly I use the same in tank fuel pumps in my Italian motorcycles which the Italian fuel pump is crap the Toyota Denso type are in all my power sports equipment they last forever it's a one-time mod of course you keep good gas and things and all that sort of thing you don't abuse the privilege I guess I'd say not saying that your problem is not your fuel pump not at all but it is kind of extreme you don't read about it very much some people change tanks and may not be needing to it is possible to set up a rig on the car so you can actually measure the fuel pressure.
