Bought in October 2019, the Full Self Driving (FSD) option has arrived: 2021.32.22 - has full self driving enable button FSD enable button starts Tesla insurance monitoring for a week If everything passes, I'll be able to use the latest FSD! It has been a long time coming but it is industry leading technology. Bob Wilson
For me, $6,000 in October 2019. The next week, it went to $7,000. Now it is $10,000. The only thing that bothers me is a senior engineer in charge of FSD left Tesla a couple of weeks ago. We'll soon know if this is a bad sign. Bob Wilson
Our daughter mentioned something about a $10k upgrade (for her 3), guess it was for that. Maybe USD though, and more up here. That’s quite a lead-time, ponying up that kind of cash, for a software update still in the works. Testimony to Tesla confidence I suppose.
Autopilot was always one of my 71 year old, primary requirements. So getting FSD was an easy decision. BTW, I had to pay for AutoPilot when I bought our 2019 Std Rng Plus Model 3. AutoPilot paid for itself three months later. Bob Wilson
