I am wondering if any one using Fumoto vale, drain oil by Fumoto valve, wait until aproximatelly no more oil drop from the opening vale, then completely remove the vale out of the oil pan to see if there is more oil comming out. This to make sure that the Fumoto thread is just right (not deep)!!! Thank you.
There is always some oil left in the car. This is normal. Don't bother trying to get out every last drop because there is little or no benifit (unless the oil your replacing is REALLY REALLY REALLY bad and sludging up). Why bother installing a fumoto valve if your going to keep removing it like a normal drain bolt?

But I just want to compare to drain oil between with and without Fumoto valve: 1- If they are the same then it's good (and they should per Fumoto's advertised) 2- If because of the vale thread too long to prevent debris and oil to come out then it's more harm then good.
I checked this on the first oil change after installing the Fumoto vlave and no more oil came out. Since then I just use the valve. Love it!
