Just having a little fun, here... last night, I drove out to get ice cream There's a lot of coasting, opportunities to go into neutral, etc Anyway, On the way there: 86 mpg On the way back: 46 mpg Lol
No, but if I only drive there and never drive back, I'll save a lot of gas and eat a lot of awesome ice cream !
Next, what is the one-way distance? I have a rule of thumb for elevation change, and can compute to check your trip against this simple (or simplistic) rule. P.S. My simple rule, excluding engine warm-up issues, points to a one-way trip of 2.6 miles, give or take 15%-ish. However, this assumes that the engine was already warmed up before the trip. If it wasn't -- and seems likely that it wasn't -- then the calculation will be off.
Fuzzy1!!! It was 2.5 miles !!! Amazing! Great job. Warm up wasn't much of an issue - I'm guessing it was 50 % decline. Once again, great job !
