Saw a Volt stopped in the middle of the road this morning, could be out of battery and ran out of gas gas or just simply broken down. But just happened as I was taking this picture a Prius drove by in the background.
I really don't know how you can run out of "fuel" (petrol or juice) in a Volt, a PiP, or any modern vehicle. It is like you have to actively block out all the warnings and alarms and hazards for it to happen. Hopefully he just wanted to stop and get a really good picture of whatever was happening up ahead!
Could not resist to quote myself... Send it to "Burger King" - EVEN THE ELECTRIC CARS STOP HERE TO FEED THEIR BATTERIES !!
It is pretty obvious that he is stuck behind a prius driver that is crawling away from a stop light in eco mode.
Photo does not show him behind a Prius. Wait, the light turned green and the Prius let him in the dust. DBCassidy
Can't happen, when the volt is "dead" and gets towed to the chevy dealer. Dealer doesn't have the training nor experience to fix the damn volt. How sad. DBCassidy
