I am just passing this along for anyone who it may help or who has one laying around like I did, years ago I bought the Soundgate TOYPD2 for iPod integration with factory HU and it worked great. I just picked up a Prius III (2011) and just hooked it up and it worked, perfect I might add. You can still find these but I do not believe they make them anymore. I want to keep stock stereo but hate the Aux port and charging the iPod etc, I like to be able to manipulate my iPod through factory HU. Plus the Soundgate charges the iPod. So even though this unit says 1998-2008 toyota/scion cars, it works with my factory HU CD player with JBL system. Just a heads up if anyone is in a similar boat as me.
