I will most likely be picking up my Prius on Monday and I'm very excited about it.

However, I am concerned that I don't have a garage and will be parking on the street year round.

Is there anything I will need to be aware of or watch out for with my car exposed to the elements 24/7? What suggestions do you have for limiting Mother Nature's effects on the exterior & interior?

    Thanks for all your help!

There shouldn't be anything special you have to worry about... treat it like you would any other new car!

I don't know about Mother Nature, but I've heard you should watch out for pedestrians.

o get a fitted sunshade for the front window (such as IntroTech's from your local Toyota parts dealership)
o tint the rest of your windows darker and with 99% UV blocking and some decent IR blocking
o wax with Zaino or some other non-wax polymer protectant that won't evaporate off in the sun
o and wash your car semi-regularly but only with microfiber cloths and multiple buckets so the grit you're rinsing off isn't being used to wash/wipe & scratch the surface.

One more thing: use 303 or something similar on all your vinyl, plastic, rubber, (including around windows, doors, top and any other rubber you find) leather, tonneau covers etc. etc. Especially on the outside.
