Rain and fog season started. I found that the gauge brightness changes according the outside brightness even when the headlamp is in "ON" position. This seems to be annoying when the weather is cloudy. The gauge brightness changes frequently because sun comes in and out of the cloud. Can I make gauge brightness not changing with outside brightness? Now I am setting the auto-headlamp senstivity to low. Not sure if it will help or not. This is for Prius v Five with no ATP.
I think if you roll the dimmer wheel all the way up (HIGH) pass the detent click, the gauge brightness will stay the same (on HIGH of course). Also see the post below: Dimmer switch revisited | PriusChat
