Have a 2012 Prius that has the driver side rear toe out of alignment. This car has rear disc brakes and I’m looking for how best to correct the problem. I’ve read that a shim can be used behind the wheel bearing, but what about on the brakes? Any help would be very much appreciated.
The shims are readily available, and are the accepted method for correcting rear toe. Any competent shop should be able to do it. This video shows how it's done by a DIYer:
