Gen 3 wheels on a Gen 2

    I have an opportunity to purchase some wheels off a 2012 prius and was wondering if they will fit on my 2005. The bolt pattern (5x100) seems to be the same. But these wheels use a different lug nut than my stock tapered nut so Im concerned with getting the correct lug for them that fit my prius wheel studs.

    Has anyone made this swap or know for sure it will work?
    If so, do you have a link for the info on the correct lug?

    Yes they will fit, and I have a set for $200, brand new take off from 2015

    Thanks JC. Any idea where to get the correct lugs for these wheels?
    Is the thread on the stud the same for 2005 and 2012?

    Check on Amazon. You can enter your vehicle details, then search for lug nuts. You'll see a confirmation they fit your vehicle. You basically want M12x1.50, 60 degree tapered base (for use with the spare) and captured washer (for use with alloy rim).

    For me, looks like this on amazon.ca:

    The lug nut fitments are the same on Gen2 and Gen3
