After searching for a good 2 hours I am hoping someone has some info for me. I wanna hardwire a dash cam and am hoping I can tie into the dome lights instead of running a cable down to the fuse panel. I thought I saw something about this a few years ago. I just never purchased a camera until yesterday. Anyone have the thread or some wiring info? It’s going in my 2016 three touring. Thank you for any help.
This post cannot exactly instruct you, because it is for a different model. But perhaps it can inspire you? The safety camera pod on the windshield is going to be pretty similar, with the same power scheme available to tap. Good luck!
