Had the car for almost a week with no problems - today I noticed the symbol lights under the ready symbol fading in and out - they did not come on full and as I said, they all faded in and out - would the 91 temp and glaring sun have anythng to do with, is it safe to drive???

Yes, unless there is some other indication of trouble. IMO just keep a record of your observations. Intermittant problems are a pita to find.
