Well over a year ago I did a product marketing review for something like this and I was surprised that so many of the fellow reviewers looked on it positively. There was no indication on what manufacturer had it in mind but they were looking at quite a few different / high end options. Between this, & giving a timeline for electric pickup production, & closing down a plant to retool as fully electric, there may be hope for GM yet.
I hope that they put on their seat belts. Probably 90% of people will want to sit facing forward I once had a VW Eurovan that had two rear facing seats. Great for when the van was parked (there was a popup table)...but no one wanted to sit in them when going somewhere. Mike
If people even get into a car without a driver, facing backwards would probably be the least of their worries.
by the time gm builds a new bev, there won't be anymore car accidents. still, they're one up on ford and toyota
These could be popular in the Las Vegas airport to parking lot and Las Vegas to casino routes. It would replace the Kamikazi taxi and limo drivers. Of course they would have to be 'hose' washable. Bob Wilson
