GM the latest automaker to issue recall of vehicles If automakers can take solace in anything, it's that misery loves company. General Motors has become the latest auto manufacturer to issue a safety recall for a number of its vehicles, reporting on Tuesday that 1.3 million vehicles were recalled due to problems with their power steering assist systems.
Only if they tried to replace the plastic/or wood trim on the steering wheel would fix the problem, just as much as a floor mat would fix uncontrolled acceleration , then gloat about how much money they saved in internal emails.
