So, the good news is that we are about to purchase a 2010, 1 owner, well cared for Prius and are excited to be bringing our new baby home this weekend! The bad news is that our 2002 just got diagnosed with a frozen brake booster pump, and a bad brake fluid warning switch, with an estimated repair cost of $1,745! A look at Kelly Blue Book says that the car, in fair condition is a little over 2,000 with no trade in value. It doesn't make much sense to spend $1,750 to make ( maybe ) $500. Is there a market for this car, as is, for parts? Any other suggestions?
