    Google is right:
Source: BBC News - Microsoft hits out at Google team over bug report

A typical security vulnerability alert comes up with a 'cute name' and a general description of what is going on. Then we have to use Google to find mechanisms that demonstrate the exploit. But I have little to no sympathy for anyone who thinks controlled ignorance is protection. Rather the opposite is true. Ignorance means the bad guys have more time to exploit the risk and put everyone at risk.

    I'm with Google on this.

    MaƱana never comes.
MS is whining that they only wanted two more days ... ... before their next delay announcement. The bug should have been fixed months ago.

Since Google and MS are competitors, the only benefit Google gains by finding and notifying MS of their bugs is to not have Google blamed for MS errors. The 90 day window of no public announcement is already too lenient.
