Got 70mpg on test drive

    In brief:

    - 70 mpg on open interstate
    - 65 mpg overall (150 miles mixed interstate/3 miles city plus 10 miles highway stop/go)

    At That's what I scored in a Prius G3 and C during a rental/test drive with cruise set at 45. That's amazing for a car with no lean-burn or direct injection.

    Very good mileage. still, keep in mind:

    Assuming you're relying on what the car's telling you, not calculating: reality was likely somewhere between 5 and 10 percent lower.
