I was pleasantly surprised when a cheaque for $4,000 showed up in the mailbox eight weeks after buying the cars. It will be interesting to see how long the 2nd cheaque takes. I sent them both off on the same day. I am looking at buying another Prius when I find another taxi plate to lease so the $8,000 rebate will buy 1/4 of the new car. Must be slow times in Ottawa if they rebated the money in 8 weeks.
