I just got back from Town and Country Toyota charlotte, NC. They did my oil change and tire rotation. I also told them the rear spoiler is loose and making noise over bumps, they ordered a new one under warranty. I also wanted a new driver side wiper blade, they also are ordering a new one under warranty. So so far they are doing a good job. I have been there one time before.
Was this the scheduled 10K oil change? I can't believe they would warranty a wiper blade. How long have you owned it?
I had my oil change/tire rotation done at 30,000 miles. And yes they didn't have the blades in stock, they also don't sell or use the refills so they will be getting the whole blade for me. it is strange they need to order the wiper blade but i have to go back anyways to get the new spoiler put on so it doesn't bother me. I didn't buy the car there, and i was at the parts counter asking about the wiper refills when he told me it should be a warranty issue and to ask my service advisor, she said it would be covered under warranty. I would have never thought they would be a warranty item, maybe the dealer is just being nice to me.
Wiper blades have a 1yr/12k mile warranty. Any part replaced has a 1yr/unlimited miles parts warranty. So, theoretically one would never have to buy wiper blades. Not that I do that or anything.
