Does anyone know if the green hov sticker allows you to travel free on Fastrak toll roads like 241 in California? I heard the white sticker cars (CNG) will be allowed access free with a refundable transponder but no monthly toll fee. Will this apply to green stickers too in 2014?
You can search for threads here discussing HOV stickers and toll roads, etc. Bottom line is, AFAIK, the green stickers mean nothing on the dedicated toll roads in So Cal. I think I saw something saying you can get a discounted rate using the transponder in the toll lane on the 91 freeway, but that's a separate freeway lane, not a dedicated toll road like the 241, where everybody pays. Not gonna' help if all you have is the Prius C anyway.
