Since some of you have had them for a bit already, do you know of any special parking incentives? Is Santa Monica again implementing the free parking plan they did with the yellow stickers?
I read somewhere free parking at LAX, but some people have been charged. I also read that meters in Mahattan and Hermosa are free, but I cannot find that any longer.
Here's the email message that I received from the city of Santa Monica on 7-3-2012: Vehicles displaying valid and current clean air decals - either white or green - may park at meters on the street without paying for the time limit as posted. After the time limit has passed (typically 1 or 2 hours) you must move your vehicle. You must always be sure to look for any other posted restrictions, such as street cleaning or permit requirements.
