Greenpeace embarrassed Apple not so long ago, and they've cleaned up their act considerably. I have far more respect for a company that says 'you're right - let's fix that' than I do for empty promises.

Too bad their Centurion guard had caught Brian, the perp, in the act & made him write it a hundred times.

Here's the message between the lines that I see:

" . . . Police were soon on the scene but Hewlett-Packard chose not to press charges, an apparent effort to avoid prolonged media attention to the case. Mr Harrell also said that because the activists used finger paint, no damage was done to the building. . . . "

Trespassing is a crime. The Cops obviously know who did it. HP doesn't have to press charges, any more then you or I would have to press charges if a relative was murdered. It's criminal. But the police simply put their hands in their pockets. Seems like they too, are awfully worried about HP's bad P.R. . . . so . . . is that because of some business connection? Friendship? I duno ... but if it smells like poo ... looks like poo ... then ...
