Been reading up here for a little while and thought it was time to step in. In 2006 when gas went crazy, I bought a TDI and parked the "Big Truck" with no regrets. Wife's vehicle is a do-all SUV and a keeper. Now it's time for Son to start driving. Have decided to replace the truck with a Prius and allow him use of the TDI. This site is very informative and I look forward to your help with some remaining questions.
