Halogen or HID headlamps????

    I have a basic model 2006 AUS prius. I'm not sure if i have the halogen or HID lights? Were the HId only on the itech models?

    For US models, if you have fog lights, you have HID, but I'm not sure about options in other countries.

    If you have HID headlights you should see yellow warning stickers on the headlight housings and on the black plastic cover over the radiator.

    When you turn on the HID headlights you may notice a very brief color change as the bulbs warm up.

    Halogens. HIDs were only available in the US (and later on, in Japan).
