We have a 2010 gen 3 prius and the Hands Free phone does not work well. It does not understand requests such names in "dial by name" and it does not understand "dial by number". The software most times mis-understands the phone number or contact name. My Motorola ear piece does a better job. We have read the manual and done what is suggested (not much). The dealer says that is a problem with all Prius and thats that. I am not satisified with that answer. I would like to know what owner's experience is and are there work arounds to this problem? RLK
Works fine for me. Are you waiting for the prompt beeps? You can press the voice recognition button to cut short the navlady.
