Well after some texting bimbo cut me off and I had to slam on the brakes real hard, I get a triangular red light with a ! in the middle and a check engine light come on. Also, the mfd now has a caution light and none of the usual displays. Will these lights reset themselves? How long? What do I need to do?
Well all seems okay now that the car has been driven a bit that the engine has gone through a few on-off cycles and all the lights have disappeared.
+2 check the fluid level. Also check for leaks cap/reservoir seals and brake pads. On some cars brake fluid reservoir is small, the lights get triggered when the brakes about to go out
Thanks for the feedback guys. I hadn't thought about checking the fluids but that makes sense. I'll go out and check them now.
