This isn't really a Prius question per se, but since it happened to my Prius, I'm posting it here anyway I park my prius in my driveway and in the morning, the sprinklers get the car wet and leave hard water spots. I figured they would rinse away when I got my car washed. However, picking up my car from the carwash today proved me wrong. Does anyone have a remedy for hard water spots on cars? They're on a variety of surfaces (door, bumper, headlight lens) and I don't want to use anything that will damage the car.
I use Armor All Spray On Car Polish Protective Barrier... it's designed to be a semi wax between actual washing.. I tried it the other day on some water spots, and they came right off.. plus it left my car nice and shiny. I use only Armor All products on my car. I found the glass cleaner works well on the interior.
