Are there any software/firmware updates (not maps) to fix bugs or were their any changes to the hardware between the first of the 2010's to the last of the 2011s that used the JBL DVD based nav? If I have a defective unit that is replaced, would the replacement have any updates not in the late 2009-built system?
I've got an early model also. There are less controls in the hidden menu than what folks with the later in the year model have. One example is the ability to control the backup camera. Other than those minor differences, the system doesn't seem to operate differently.
