Seriously I though this few time after bough the car... My story is I went stealership for first month inspection, while I was waiting I was checking out Prius Catalog with price chart. Next I notice the price chart was revised for 05 production. And 05 gets minor option changes, that make me mad. I know its just rear windshield wiper! but I wanted... Now it can be order with the car for $140. Also Toyota introduced limited production Prius as well! I will, I still love my Prii
In America, all Prius are in effect limited production compared to demand. My feeling, as an '05 Prius owner in waiting, is one of gratitude. Toyota could easily have hiked the price by 10% or more and still have met no market resistance. Given that the actual increase was so small, yet with added content like standard rear wiper, Toyota's restraint is admirable. What is different about the limited production model in Japan?
Speedracer -- besides the addition of the rear windshield wiper, are there any other minor option changes for the '05 Prius in Japan? Thanks in advance!
