Hi All, My Aunt just purchase a new Prius but she cannot reach the handle to lower the hatch once it is open and the option for power operator was not available. I don't like the idea of a step stool or a little ladder. What ingenious options have you all seen to overcome this challenge? Many thanks in advance for taking the time.
Sometimes people will replace one hatch strut, or both, with shorter versions, to keep the hatch from opening as high, and that keeps the handles in reach. (Is also useful if there are low overhangs in a garage and the hatch goes up too high.)
