Looks like they have arrived in parts of the West Coast but has anyone taken delivery of an '06 in Colorado?
I got a call from Stevinson West in Lakewood last week that an '06 Black #6 would be ready for me on 12/8. They even told me that they would "hold" it for me until 1/2/06 so that I can take advantage of the tax credit. I turned it down, however, because I'm waiting for a package #8 (hopefully Seaside Pearl). BTW, I've been on their wait list since early September. Sounds like the first shipment will be here this week, though!
Wow, that is great. I ordered a Red #8 from them in October. It's good to know that they would hold it for you (if you wanted) until next year! Thanks for the info!
FYI I bought my 04 Prius from Stevinson West. I ordered in February and it arrived in late August--the usual six month wait at that time. I did shop around all the Denver/Boulder dealers and was very pleased with Stevinson. You may want to see if Costco still uses Stevinson as their recommended dealer and if so, you may be able to save hundreds. I will be having the software update recall done at their dealership. I did buy the extended warranty and pre-paid maintenance {from Troy in MA via this forum} and have not paid a penny additional in scheduled maintenance yet. And absolutely no problems with the car at 11.5 k. . Love it.
There are several 2006 cars at Denver dealers now. Elway has already delivered a couple and Stevinson West has had a blue '06 since Nov 30. More should arrive this week. Check around or do online inventory checks at dealer sites. Less desired colors (black & white) are on the way to several dealers & not spoken for so call around if you're interested and flexible on color.
