I found a really helpful independent shop that does work on hybrids but I'm not finding any reviews on them on here. I'm in need of a hv battery repair and they seem to offer 2 options: repair the current battery which is a 3 day process or sell 1 of their rebuilt batteries which is an hour or 2 process. The cost is the same for both which is $1k. I would've thought the 3 day process would be cheaper. They're a lot closer to me (1 hour and change from Chicago) than Autobeyours (~4-5 hours). Veldman's also offer a 2 year, unlimited mile warranty which seems to be interesting. Have anyone used Veldman's?
did you go with Veldman's? I live in Chicagoland area and desperately looking for independent reliable service tech. the dealerships all seem to be terrible and $$ thank you, [email protected]
bumping up a 7 year old post and wondering if anyone has any experience with Veldmans? I just brought in my 08 for an AC recharge and probably will need a new hybrid battery soon
