Hi all, My wife and I picked up our new 2011 Prius a week ago today! I had never even been in one before the test drive last week, but we were really attracked to the high mileage and were pretty sure the Prius was what we wanted. Am absolutely loving it so far; drives well, quiet, lots of room (we've got two small kids), plus great mileage. We've put about 250 miles on it and are showing 49 mpg so far.
I love it - this is the kind of post I need to read....I will probably go talk to the dealership this weekend...too bad I will have to "walk" at the first visit for negotiation purposes....
Congrats on your Prius and welcome to PriusChat. We've had some previous threads about Prius being able to accommodate two rear seat child carriers plus an adult, though this may not be a problem for you. Enjoy the high MPGs, technology and low emissions.
