I've know a few people who owned/own one they loved the economy---and the metro was truly a car ahead of it's time...noisy etc--- but hey right now who would care..... too bad GM without a doubt destroyed the tooling and molds---a smart company would have stored the line equipment to make this little rascal just in case the world changed... An in return for the Suzuki Swift/Geo Metro/Pontiac Firefly, we get the Daewoo-built, GM run Suzuki Swift+/Chevy Aveo/Pontiac Wave. Thanks GM. We gave you a well-built Japanese car and you return the favour with a Korean hunk of junk. Suzuki needs to bring the real Swift over and stop selling the Swift+.
