Generally speaking, I don't care for 'personality' shows but I caught the last episode of "Silicon Valley" and throughly enjoyed it. This episode is about the big presentation of their product but the night before, the programmer rewrites everything they had been working on. All of the presentation scripts and roles are completely useless because he wiped out what they had done and replaced it with a super efficient, lossless compression software. What happened is I could relate and identify with the characters from my 40 year, computer career. Everyone was there from the quiet but brilliant guy who just ignores the rest and makes original work to the braggart without a whit of technical skills and everyone in between. This was the one and only episode I watched. I probably won't catch the earlier episodes but would recommend the last one if you've been working in the computer industry for any period of time.
