Working on my salvage 2007 basic model. Car was sideswiped with damage to the drivers side. Damage mostly "repaired" before I got it. Abs light is on and left headlight not working. Took the wheel off and the and sensor wire connector was broken. Got a replacement sensor wire but cannot find a matching connector. Maybe it was ripped out in the accident? Anyone knows what part of the wiring harness it comes from? Anyone know if a pigtail is available? Could see broken wires to the headlight (obvious junkyard replacement) and pulled the headlight out. The headlight was not connected, probably because it was too crush to fit, so I need to replace it. There is a socket on the round cover for the headlight bulb but I cannot find a plug for it. Anyone knows what its for?
Upon closer inspection, it is the wrong headlight, just installed for appearances I guess. Now I need a new headlight.
The wheel sensor plugs in high up behind the fender liner right there by the strut so you need the car side of the harness and the plug on the other side of the sensor lead?. And the headlight I'm guessing you have just regular halogen headlights so you should have a three-prong H4 connector just laying there somewhere.
Yes, the line from the harness is missing. Does it come from the same line as the pump on the coolant tank? Found a pigtail online for $79. The three prong plug is there but full of dirt and rat urine (don't ask) so I would rather replace it.
You just go to a car at LKQ and cut it out they don't want it they're probably let you have it same with the wheel sensor and the headlight plug all in one fell swoop and it's all from the same side $79 holy cow I'm talking $20 or free even in a pretty big market I'm in Raleigh-Durham North Carolina.
