I have a 2008 Prius with HID headlight bulbs. I just replaced them recently, and the passenger bulb has already failed. I just received the new bulb, and as usual, took care to not touch the glass and installed the new bulb. The bulbs still did not illuminate. I tested the connection that snaps onto the back of the bulb And had proper voltage. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
Try swapping both bulbs onto the other working side. Then you will know if all three (3) bulbs are good or not
Your ballast on that side needs to be replaced??? Note, that if your ballast is defective, it can damage a brand new bulb such that you need to replace that also.
I'm curious how this turned out. I need to replace my '07 Touring headlight bulbs and trying to avoid exorbitant charge.
