The point of closing the cover when gone is to prevent rays from entering the car. However they hit the cover and produce heat.... I wonder if toyota figured the heat was trapped and negligible or maybe they figured the solar venting would offset it anyway? I'm just wondering whether we should try to figure out how to heatshield the top of the inside cover so the rays will be reflected back out? Any thoughts or considerations by anyone towards this?
