Hi everyone. Well, I've posted in the wrong area earlier and I've had some responses so I see this is a helpful forum. Glad to meet everyone. I have a 2011 Prius II and I'm loving it. I love high tech stuff in general everything from phones, DVR's, etc. This car is amazing, I just was looking at it for fuel economy I didn't know it was an E Ticket at Disneyland. Having lots of fun.
Congrats on your new Prius and welcome to PriusChat :welcome: A cool option I discovered is "hill assist". When stopped on a hill for a red light, I firmly depress the brake until a dash light/beep activates. This will firmly hold your Prius from rolling backward when you move your foot from brake to accelerator. The owner's manual and PriusChat is loaded with tips, tricks, instructions and more. Ah, Tom....you must not be old enough! Back in the day, Disneyland had ride ticket books that you bought. The chits were labeled A-E, with the tame rides being A and the most fun rides requiring an E ticket!
Congrats. I'm from Columbus area. I've had my 2011 for a month and love it. 48-49MPG on every fill up so far. I got 57 on the way home today on my 75 mile trip. It fun to drive and save money when gas is almost $4. Enjoy
