Want to say that this appears to be a great site with many knowledge people dedicate to the Prius. I am not an owner yet but have been using your (now mine) site to assist me in making a decision on buy a new Prius next month. Hey Ken, glad you're considering one. If you're looking for a new one, be aware, if you're not already, that production is halted due to the events in Japan, and that coupled with higher gas prices there could be a reduced supply. edit: I felt the way I wrote it was a little misleading. There could be the dealers telling you there's reduced supply even if none yet, i.e. may be a little more pricey to get one unfortunately...

As you've discovered there's a wealth of information, tips, facts, not-so-much facts and lots more As other posters said, time may be critical regarding Pius availability and pricing. When dealers get a sniff of short supply, their cash registers start twitching. I hope it doesn't happen.
