    Hello everyone,

I recently bought an SD card with map updates for my Prius 2011 from AliExpress, but I'm having trouble updating my navigation system. I tried using a USB card reader adapter, but it didn't work. I'm looking for an alternative way to do the update through the 'HDD Update' port on the head unit. Does anyone know if this port is compatible with USB or if there's a specific adapter I could use? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Does your 2011 even have an 'HDD Update' port?

If I remember right, 2012–2015 had two choices for nav unit, a 7" screen Denso with an internal hard drive (you update it via USB) or a 6.1" with the CD slot above the screen, where the nav data is on an SD card you stick in a slot.

But 2010–2011, to my knowledge, just had the older 7" screen Denso with a map DVD slot behind the folding screen. You update that one by putting in a newer DVD.
