So.. I have this 2017 Toyota prius. It's going fine until. I was going over a driveway to pickup a granny. I was midway in the steep driveway when she go in. I came back to the road in reverse and I heard a sounds like I just was leaving something. I then saw nothing of it and left. When I was on the road my check engine light went up and a sign saying Grille shutter Inoperative. " after dropping off the granny, I looked down and saw a water leak in the front side of the car . I'm towing my car, what should I do? I'm new to cars so I want advice about the problem. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
i think the grille shutter is a known issue, maybe a usb or recall. could the leak have been air conditioner condensation? check engine is an emissions problem, simplest is a loose gas cap if you haven't towed it yet, you might be able to drive to the dealer if your radiator isn't leaking. can you explain more clearly the meaning of: 'going over a driveway topic up a granny' 'sounds like i was just leaving something' '
