My name is Francisco. My parents bought me a prius about 3 weeks ago. I didn't want a Prius cause i seen a lot of old people driven them and i had a 2001 Nissan Frontier rollin on 22" rims but i was only getting 12mpg. But we saw a 2010 GenIII Model V blue ribbon and really liked it. What can i say 2010 look sporty and in my first trip i got 48mpg, second, 50mpg, and so far on the 3rd, 51mpg. I had to change my driving style, yall know when your young (am 19) you drive real eratic. I love the prius and hopefully i will learn a few tips in here. Peace
Francisco. welcome to the forum. Just think, all that coin you're saving on gas can be spent somewhere else. Also, if you get out of Florida, you'll see young people driving them too. You just got a high percentage of youth challenged people in FL to skew the numbers.
It's a given. Your brain has not fully developed yet. That's not a cut on you mate, it's just biology. I drove like a maniac back in the day so I have no room to criticize.
Hey there right back to you! I'm 17 years old and am so so proud to own a 2010 Prius. I absolutely love every aspect of the vehicle, and I even WANTED one. I love the MPG's, the technology, and all the above. It's an all around great car. Who knows.. I may be a Prius owner for life.:welcome:
