Just got home from a week out of town - my copy of the Prius 2006 calendar came while I was gone. What a great feeling to open it and see *my* Prius on the first page! I'm going to start a thread that hopefully will be updated each month by the featured car's owner. There's some great pictures in the calendar - it would be nice to know about the photos. February's picture was taken on the Kentucky shore of the Ohio River. The buildings in the background are in downtown Cincinnati. On the left is Paul Brown Stadium, home of the Cincinnati Bengals. The front buildings just above the B pillar on my car are the home of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Thanks to everyone involved in putting the calendar together - it's fantastic!
Hmm. I guess mine with all the plastic panels torn out was too scary, or trailer-trash, or something, to be calendar-grade. . _H*
Alan, my wife saw the calendar firsty and she said "what a great photo of Concinnati. When I saw it was a Maroon car...I knew it was yours...had to be!
Thanks, Alan! Love that view of Cincinnati. My wife and I went to school at Xavier. When she saw the picture, she said, "Hey, that's Cinci!"
I do not know... last year's calendar seemed much nicer than this year's calendar. Especially June. Not sure why... it's crazy.
I've got May, August, November, December, and Jan '07. May--Taken in NW British Columbia last August, near the border to Alaska. August--Taken in Oildale, CA a couple days before May's pic. November--Taken next to a coal-burning power plant in Texas a few days before August's, pic. December--Different angle of May's pic. Wish it was a little lighter....the printer really darkened it. January '07--Taken near Tehachapi, CA the day after November's pic.
july is my car! the picture was taken last september in key west, we were there for a couple of our friends who were getting married. the parking lot attendant just happened to direct us under that tree, and i thought it'd make a neat picture. we were on our way to go snorkeling that day, which was a real blast!
