Yesterday I saw a Mercedes C230 with temporary plates. I'm not sure if it was a 2004 or 2005 model, but it had a split rear window that closely resembled the one shown at left. Instead of a solid dark color across the entire lower window, however, it had only a thick black border. Overall it was a smaller rear window.
