i just test drove a 05 prius.. 44k salvage with navi for 16k.. no leather.. had HID.. do you think it's a good deal... looked pretty good.. drive it.. not back... anyhow i noticed that the screen resolution was kinda bad... is it the screen or the software? If screen then when did they change the screen to be like the 08 screen ?
Salvage title?! NOT a good deal, you shouldn't pay much more than that for a clean title. Not sure what to tell you about the NAV screen...It's not supposed to be high def, but without a picture I can't tell you how bad or good the one you drove will be.
The MFD screen resolution increased between 05 and 06. And I concur with the good doctor. For $16K you could do better. EDIT: A friend with an 05 with NAV was amazed at the clarity/resolution of my wife's 06 NAV. There *is* a big difference.
